This isn't my favourite of the Odditties series, but it's definitely up there. Stray Here With You, Gates of Xiong, This Night Has Opened My Eyes (which is better than the original by a landslide) and Chart-Beep might be some of my new favourite Ariel songs. Worth picking up if you're a fan.

I really don't know what it is about this record but it feels like back-to-back bangers from Ariel. As in, this could easily replace Loverboy or Worn Copy and still be 100% functional as an album. Also Burned Out Love is his best song and my favourite song of all time.

This and The Doldrums are far and away two of the best records Ariel recorded during his, "ashram era." It has so many bangers and also some great deep cuts aside from the obvious Alisa, Gettin' High In The Morning and Helen. Plus the remaster sounds great.
